Chairman
Dato’ Ding Pei Chai, DPTJ, PMP

Aged 60 and a Malaysian, is a founding member of DKLS Industries Berhad and was appointed to the Board as an Executive Director of the Company on 12 August 1996. He was the Managing Director of the Company since his appointment to the Board and was redesignated as Non-executive Chairman of the Company on 18 April 2007. Dato’ Ding serves as a member of the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Investment Committee of the Company.


Dato’ Ding is a Civil Engineer graduated from Monash University (Australia) and has more than 36 years of working experience. His engineering experience is fairly wideranging, having established excellent track record in a wide range of civil and structural engineering projects, buildings, marine structures, road works, land and marine piling works, and land reclamation works.

Dato’ Ding is currently the Executive Chairman of Isyoda Corporation Berhad, a public limited company. He also sits on the Board of several other private limited companies.

Managing Director
Mr Ding Poi Bor

Aged 61 and a Malaysian, is a founding member of DKLS Industries Berhad and was appointed to the Board as an Executive Director of the Company on 12 November 1996. He was appointed as Deputy Managing Director of the Company on 1 March 2003 and redesignated as Managing Director on 18 April 2007. Mr Ding serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Company. He also holds directorships in the subsidiary companies within the DKLS Group and several other private limited companies.


With over three decades of diversified exposure and experience in quarry and construction, Mr Ding’s experiences include civil and structural engineering projects, road works and buildings. He is also well versed in land and marine piling works and marine structures. Specialised works related to runway construction is also his forte. Overseas project negotiation also falls into his realm of responsibility.

Executive Director
Ir Sam Tuck Wah

Aged 56 and a Malaysian, is a founding member of DKLS Industries Berhad and was appointed to the Board as an Executive Director of the Company on 12 August 1996. Ir Sam serves as a member of the Investment Committee of the Company. He also holds directorships in the subsidiary companies within the DKLS Group and several other private limited companies.


Ir Sam graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (United States of America) with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. With over three decades of experience, he has since established excellent track record in civil and structural engineering projects, buildings, as well as land and marine piling works and marine structures. Road works and land reclamation works are also his forte.

Finance Director
Ms Ding Soo King

Aged 54 and a Malaysian, was appointed to the Board as an Executive Director of DKLS Industries Berhad on 6 December 2007. She also holds directorships in the subsidiary companies within the DKLS Group.


Ms Ding graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, (United States of America) with a B. Sc. in Business Administration. She started her career as Finance Officer and was promoted to Financial Controller of DKLS Group after the Company was listed in Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. She acted as Corporate Advisor to DKLS Group prior to her appointment to the Board.


Ms Ding has more than 30 years experience in Financial Management and has extensive exposure in various industries ranging from Construction, Quarry Masters, Property Development and International Trade.

Executive Director
Ms Francisca Lo Fui Khiun

Aged 52 and a Malaysian, was appointed to the Board as Executive Director of DKLS Industries Berhad on 3rd January 2017.


She first joined KPMG Tawau Sabah in 1983 and completed her audit articleship in 1988 and thereafter admitted to be a member of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In 1992, she joined Leeka Group of Companies as Group Accountant. The principal activities of the group are construction, quarrying, development and plantation.


In December 1995, she joined DKLS Construction Sdn Bhd as an Accountant and assumed her current position as Financial Controller on 1 January 2006. She is primarily responsible for ensuring that strategic execution of business plan deliver on our operating and financial goals to create long term value for our shareholders. She oversees the planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial processes, governance and controls, corporate affairs as well as enterprise risk management.


Ms Francisca is a member of Malaysia Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("MICPA"), Malaysia Institute of Accountants ("MIA") and FCPA of CPA Australia

Non-executive Director
Dato’ Seri Haji Omar bin Haji Ahmad

Aged 62 and a Malaysian, was appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-executive Director of DKLS Industries Berhad on 1 July 2007.


Dato’ Seri Haji Omar was attached to Jabatan Penjara Malaysia, Alor Setar, Kedah Darul Aman from 1975 to 1985. He was a Director of Skoga Redimix Sdn Bhd from 1985 to 2004, the last position held being the Executive Chairman of the Company.

Non-executive Director
Mr Chin Kok Tong

Aged 45 and a Malaysian, was appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-executive Director of DKLS Industries Berhad on 9 December 2013. He had served as an independent member of the Audit Committee of the Company from 9 December 2013 until 28 May 2014 when he was redesignated as the Chairman of the Audit Committee on 29 May 2014. He also serves as the Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and a member of the Investment Committee of the Company.


Mr Chin is a member of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“MICPA”) and Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”). He has over 20 years of experiences in audit and was a Senior Manager of Ernst & Young, Malaysia. He is currently a financial controller of a group of private limited companies.

Non-executive Director
Ir Mustapha bin Che Jusoh

Aged 58 and a Malaysian, graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours). He serves as a member of the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Investment Committee of the Company.


Ir Mustapha has been a Member of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (MIEM) and registered with the Board of Engineers as a Professional Engineer since 1994. He is also a member of The Institution of Highways & Transportation.


Upon graduation, Ir Mustapha joined Jabatan Kerja Raya (“JKR”), District of Kuala Terengganu as a Building Engineer, responsible for the implementation of building projects and maintenance in the district. In January 1986, he was transferred to JKR District of Manjung, Perak as a District Engineer. He was with JKR District of Manjung for more than 6 years before he joined Institut Kerja Raya Malaysia (“IKRAM”), Kajang as Head of Studies in June 1992. His responsibility was to train professionals and semi-professionals in JKR as well as in the public and private sectors. He left IKRAM after 4 years and joined JKR Armed Forces Unit in Kuala Lumpur in May 1996 as a Deputy Director in charge of project planning, implementation and maintenance of army camps. He subsequently resigned from JKR to join Isyoda (M) Sdn Bhd as the Deputy Managing Director on 28 May 1996 and was appointed Managing Director of Isyoda (M) Sdn Bhd on 1 June 2000. He was later appointed as a director of Isyoda Corporation Berhad on 18 April 2002 and was subsequently appointed as the Managing Director on 18 May 2002.
